The fourth pulp fiction story about mightiest supervillain and his journey for unlimited powers and revenge. Part of the Legend Of The Tyrant series. Written by Rogue Saint.
There are many quotes on hope, like "Hope never dies." Or numerous variations of it. But what happens when you spin hope to work for a... let say dark agenda. The fourth short story in Legend of the Tyrant series does exactly that. If you don't like your hope manipulated, or you're overly sensitive... well there are other, very nice places on the net that you can visit. Overtaking of Homerus is not one of them.
Synopsis of Overtaking of Homerus:
The once-glorious planet Homerus has slid into decrepitude since the powerful deity Salahedrin came to power. It has become the planet of the blind and the biggest intergalactic lie in history. The Tyrant arrives at Homerus, where he helps a small group of prophets rebel against Salahedrin. But secretly, behind the backs of the prophets whom he has enlisted for help, the Tyrant devises his own plan to create an anarchy out of which a new tyranny would arise.
